Almond Cake

Almond cake is a traditional cake in Galician cuisine closely linked to the Camino de Santiago and its traditions.

Its main ingredients are almonds, flour, sugar, and eggs, making it a sweet dessert with a high contribution of nutrients.

Vima almond cake is made with selected ingredients of the highest quality and made in an artisanal way. Around 45 minutes of defrosting are enough to make it ready to serve and enjoy.

The croissant originated in Austria. During the 20th century, its consumption spreads to many countries in the world, evolving into numerous variants with different names. In France, they developed a buttery, flaky version and made it “theirs,” thus adding their nationality to the name of the product.

Nowadays it is such a popular product, and are a standard part of a continental breakfast in large hotels, restaurants, or cafes, snack or dinner.

Vima croissant is made from a thin and crispy pastry, from a superior quality croissant dough. One of its main advantages is that pre-fermentation is not necessary.

With 30 minutes defrost time and between 13-16 minutes of baking at a temperature of 180ºC, they will be ready to serve and enjoy.

Layered Cakes

Layered cakes are a rectangular shape sweet dessert made with different layers, such as sponge cake, mousses, whipped cream, or other sweet preparations. It can be made in various flavors based on other popular desserts such as Tiramisú, or cakes such as San Marcos or Black Forest.

Among other ingredients, it contains milk derivatives, eggs, fruits, so its nutritional and caloric intake is high.

Vima layered cakes are made with traditional recipes and selected ingredients of the highest quality. It will merely be necessary to defrost them so that they are ready to serve and enjoy.

Cakes are presented whole or pre-cut to facilitate their service.
