DESCRIPTION

 

The lobster or European lobster, (Homarus gammarus), is a crustacean that lives in the eastern North Atlantic, from Norway to southern Portugal. They live in crevices between rocks as a natural habitat for shelter.

Lobster contains:

  • Omega-3 fatty acids.
  • A great source of selenium, copper and contains zinc and phosphorus.
  • Rich in vitamin B-12 and vitamin E.

Lobster is considered a culinary delicacy. In its most typical preparation it is boiled or steamed. It is a seafood with lean and delicious meat, recommended in any diet as a source of protein.

Vima lobster is available both cooked and raw, individually packaged. It can be eaten as a main dish or added as a star ingredient in pasta or rice dishes.
