DESCRIPTION

 

The pepper is a climbing plant of the family (Solanaceae) whose edible part is the fruit.

Originally from America, its cultivation and consumption are currently widespread throughout the world.

Nutritionally, this vegetable provides us with:

  • Minerals: potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.
  • Vitamins: C, K and B6.
  • Lycopene.
  • Fiber.

Vima canned peppers are selected at their optimal moment of ripeness, when they are sterilized and packaged. Their canning allows them to maintain their nutrients and qualities for long periods of time without the need for refrigeration.

Being a prepared product, they are ready to consume.

We have two varieties of peppers, both canned and ready to eat:

  • Red pepper. Meaty and juicy, it is used as an accompaniment to roasts and stews.
  • Piquillo pepper. Thinner but consistent meat that makes it suitable for filling or as an accompaniment.
