Pickled mussels Vima Selection They are made with mussels from the Galician Rías and under a Denomination of Origin certificate, which ensures their traceability. Only the Galician mussel brand certifies the mussel produced, transformed and processed in Galicia, the authentic mussel of the Galician Rías.

The Galician mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis) feeds by filtration, taking advantage of the phytoplankton found in sea water, considered by the FAO as one of the most important on the planet.

The starting point for the preparation of a pickled mussel of the highest quality begins with careful selection, it is its optimal moment and once it reaches large size.
The mussels are cleaned manually, fried in olive oil and packed in a soft red pickle, an ideal covering for this mollusk. In this way, mussels with a firm and tender texture are obtained, which provide a good dose of energy and guarantee an unparalleled gastronomic experience.

The immense source of nutrients from the Galician Rías characterizes the nutritional properties of its mussels.
