DESCRIPTION
The Southern Prawn (Pleoticus muelleri), also known as Argentine red shrimp or Patagonian prawn, is a species that is characterized by its reddish color and being larger than other shrimp. In recent years it has become very popular due to the great quality and flavor of its meat.
Its distinctive flavor is due to the richness in nutrients of the cold, clean waters of the South Atlantic, near the Argentine coast, where it lives. With a delicate texture, they have a delicious and sweet marine flavor.
