DESCRIPTION

Cod, (Gadus morhua), is a fish found on the coasts of North America, southern Greenland, Ireland and in European coastal areas.

Cod, being a white-fleshed fish, stands out for:

  • Rich in high biological value proteins.
  • Contains Omega 3.
  • It has a variety of vitamins (B1, B2, B6 and B9, D, E and A).
  • High amount of magnesium.
  • Low fat content.
  • The presence of potassium and phosphorus stands out.

It is an excellent source of low-calorie protein and contains a significant variety of nutrients that make it suitable for a balanced and healthy diet. There are many ways to prepare cod, which makes it a very versatile product in the kitchen.
