DESCRIPTION

 

The lobster, (Panulirus argus) It is a marine crustacean that lives throughout the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and south to Brazil.

Lobsters make their homes in crevices in coral reefs. They are nocturnal, feeding at night and returning to their crevices before dawn.

Its color varieties range from pale, almost white tones to red and orange tones. With a soft texture and delicate flavor, lobster meat is delicious and highly appreciated.

Nutritionally, lobsters are:

  • A rich source of copper and selenium
  • Rich in vitamin B12 and vitamin E.
  • A source of Omega-3 fatty acids.

Vima presents its Caribbean lobster whole and also in tails, whose sizes are generally classified in ounces and range from 5 oz to a maximum of 20 oz.

Lobster is a seafood that is usually prepared boiled, steamed or grilled. It can be enjoyed as a main dish or as a complement to salads and pastas.
