DESCRIPTION

 

The sole, (Solea solea), is one of the many species of flatfish. It lives on the sandy bottoms of the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

It is a flat fish with white, firm and soft flesh and an exquisite and intense flavour, which is why it usually has a high price on the market.

Nutritionally it provides the following qualities:

  • Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.
  • A good source of protein.
  • Low in calories.

Vima presents its sole, gutted, headless and individually vacuum-packed. It is offered in different presentations to satisfy the needs of any client.

It is a very versatile and appreciated fish in the kitchen that can be prepared in many ways, from steamed, baked, grilled or sautéed.
