DESCRIPTION

 

The Corvina is a saltwater fish belonging to the family of sciénidosIt is native to the temperate coastal waters of the southeastern Pacific Ocean. Its body is silvery in color with small scales and its meat is firm and delicate with an exquisite flavor.

Nutritionally it provides different qualities:

  • Excellent source of protein.
  • Rich in vitamin B12.
  • High in Omega-3 fatty acids.

Vima presents its corvina without head, without tail and gutted, in sizes ranging from approximately 800 grams to 3 kilos.

The commercial demand for Corvina has increased significantly, being highly appreciated for its excellent quality and qualities, with a flavor similar to snapper or grouper.

Corvina can be prepared in many different ways; it can be grilled, baked, fried, used in sushi and, above all, it is widely used in ceviches.
