Leaf Spinach

Spinach is a plant of the family Amaranthaceae. A spring and autumn vegetable, since excessive heat makes it bitter. Leaves are the edible parts.

Native to central and western Asia, from which it was introduced to Spain around the 11th century by Arabs and was spread to Europe several centuries later. Today it is grown all over the world.

It provides the organism with:

  • An excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Vitamin A, B9 Folic acid, C, K1.
  • Minerals: Iron, manganese, and potassium.
  • High in soluble fiber that protects the intestine and low in calories. This type of fiber may benefit your digestion.
  • Rich in antioxidants.

Vima Leaf Spinach is available all year round without losing any of its properties.
We offer an excellent quality product harvested at its optimum level of ripeness, with different origins in Europe.
